Membership Committee

This committee is responsible for recruiting, retaining, and welcoming members to the HBA of Raleigh Wake County and is also responsible for New Member Orientation. This committee meets as needed. For more information, contact Angela Thompson.

Associates Committee

This committee focuses on the needs of Associates in the membership.  Plans various events throughout the year, including the annual Builder Appreciation Night, HBA Golf events, and the Charitable Foundation Fundraiser.  This committee meets monthly.  For more information, contact Rachel Hamm.

Parade of Homes

This committee plans and produces the annual scattered-site home show, The Triangle Parade of Homes, that is held annually in October. The full committee meets bi-monthly. For more information, contact Jaclyn Parks.

Governmental Affairs Committee

This committee monitors issues involving our industry on the local, state, and national levels, holds candidate forums, and recommends candidates we support. This committee meets monthly. For more information, contact Suzanne Harris.

Public Relations Committee

This committee is the voice of the HBA.  It helps promote events, new and existing members, and news-worthy information from all committees and councils on social media, the website, and other media outlets. This committee meets monthly. For more information, contact Jill Weaver.

MAME Committee

This committee plans MAME, an annual awards program that highlights Major Achievements in Marketing Excellence among members of the Triangle Sales and Marketing Council. You must be a member of the Triangle Sales and Marketing Council to be on this committee. This committee meets monthly. For more information, contact Jill Weaver.

Special Events Committee

This committee plans four events each year: The Masked Singer, Battle of the Builders, Realtor®  Bus Tour, and Grill ‘N’ Chili Challenge and meets monthly. For more information, contact Rachel Hamm

State & National

In addition, HBA members can become involved in committees offered within the State and National Associations.
