In May 2014 Tom Anhut founded Anhut Properties, a residential land acquisition and development firm, leveraging Tom’s 20 years of new home construction industry experience.  The company focuses mainly on upper-end projects in the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina.  Anhut Properties created A2Group, LLC, a partnership with Jim Adams of Millridge Investments, one of the area’s leading developers with over 30 years’ experience.  A2Group currently has 10 projects consisting of almost 700 lots under contract and in various stages of the approval and site development process.

Tom joined Toll Brothers in April 1995 as a Project Manager in the Philadelphia area and was promoted to Vice President in less than 5 years.  Prior to that he worked for Ryland Homes as a site superintendent, as a Realtor in Alexandria Virginia, and before that spent 9 years as an officer in the US Army Corps of Engineers, stationed in Italy, Saudi Arabia, Boston, and in northern Virginia 3 separate times.  Tom graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1984.
