Raleigh, NC - April 22, 2024 - The Home Builders Association (HBA) of Raleigh-Wake County is proud to announce that it has awarded $12,000 in scholarships to deserving students at Wake Technical Community College for the 2023/2024 academic year. These scholarships are made possible through the generous donations of the HBA's Charitable Foundation, dedicated to supporting students pursuing education in home building related fields.

Each recipient was awarded $1,000 to support their academic endeavors and future careers. To qualify for the scholarship, students must be studying in a home building related field and submit a personal essay outlining how the scholarship would benefit their academic and professional aspirations.

Ismaal Marks, majoring in Architectural Technology
Rowan Martell, majoring in Architectural Technology
Michael Mileski, majoring in Architectural Technology

Rowan Wiles, majoring in Civil Engineering

Recipients unable to attend the ceremony, but equally deserving of recognition, are:

Gavin Storie, majoring in Electrical Technology Systems
Varvara Vedukhina, majoring in Geometrics Technology
