The Triangle Sales and Marketing Council of North Carolina (TSMC) was formed on April 2, 1993, by the Home Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake County and the Home Builders Association of Durham, Orange, and Chatham Counties. It is affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and the National Sales and Marketing Council (NSMC).

This council offers professional educational training through local and national speakers, special seminars, and other programs. Monthly meetings and opportunities for committee involvement offer an interchange of ideas that become a valuable tool in your professional life.

February 24th - Member Meet-Up hosted by M/I Homes
March 18th - Breakfast at RRAR, featured speaker TBD

May 15th - Annual MAME Awards
June 17th - Breakfast at RRAR, featured speaker TBD
August 19th - Breakfast at RRAR, featured speaker TBD

The TSMC is the largest SMC in the country, and the Council consists of various subcommittees, such as Programs, Awards, Community Outreach, Communications, Membership, MAME, and Reserves.  The TSMC plans community service projects annually for all HBA members.
 
The TSMC also hosts the annual “MAME” Awards (Major Achievements in Marketing Excellence), an annual event that is recognized throughout the industry and the Triangle area. The MAME awards mirror the National Sales and Marketing Council’s Awards (part of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB)) and have established themselves as the Academy Awards of new homes sales and marketing. The TSMC was named the best Sales and Marketing Council in the Country for 16 years from 1997-2024.
